Whether you are awake or not during your procedure depends on the type of anesthesia used.
We use tumescent anesthesia for some procedures. This allows you to remain awake while ensuring you are comfortable.
Other procedures may require the use of other forms of anesthesia administered by a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). This may allow you to sleep during the procedure.
