A breast augmentation surgery can be done for several reasons—which can vary depending on each woman and her goals. Many women see the benefits of this procedure for restoring the shape and size of their breasts after pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss, or just to feel confident about how they look. Additionally, it can serve as a reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy.
Regardless of your reason for undergoing a breast augmentation procedure, Acadia Women's Health can give you results that will undoubtedly boost yourself-esteem and confidence!

Dr. John Gonzalez (Fellow of American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons and Fellow of American College of Surgeons), our founder, has been performing these life altering surgeries (roughly 2,000) since 2006.
Dr. Jody Johnson (an advanced laparoscopic, general and cosmetic surgeon with over 20 years of complex surgical experience) joined our team in May of 2021 and has been performing breast augmentation surgeries under the tutelage of Dr. Gonzalez in addition to receiving specialized training in the field.
You will be hard pressed to find other surgeons as caring, knowledgeable, and experienced as Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Johnson.

Our breast augmentation specialists here at Acadia Women's Health have over 10 years of experience helping patients choose the right size and fit based on their desired results.
Choosing the appropriate size for a breast augmentation generally depends on the patient’s diameter, height, and body shape.
Breast implant sizes range between 100 to 1000 cc. The most common and natural breast implant sizes are usually between 300 and 500 cc.
Many women wonder which implants will provide them with the most “natural looking” breast augmentation results during their initial consultation.
Breast implants come in different sizes, shapes, and textures—however, depending on various factors specific to the patient’s health, age, and personal goals, the doctor will decide (together with the patient) which breast implant option is best.
Our certified breast doctors at Acadia Women's Health will explain that there are two different natural breasts implant options: saline vs. silicone.
Our Silicone breast implants(gummy bear implants) contain an outer casing of silicone with silicone gel inside. The gel has a sticky and thick consistency mimicking the texture of human fat.
Silicone Implant Benefits Include:
•Various sizes ranging from 100-1000 cc
•Most “natural feeling” breast implant
•Great option for women over the age of 22
Saline breast implants also have a silicone outer shell and can be filled before or after the procedure with sterile salt water. At Acadia Women's Heath, our breast specialists prefer to insert them empty and fill them once there are in the right place.
Benefits Include:
•Various sizes ranging from 100-1000 cc
•More appropriate sizing due to being filled after insertion
•Great option for women over the age of 18
