According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the breast enhancement or “boob job” procedure has ranked number one, topping the list of most frequently performed cosmetic procedure since 2006.
A breast enlargement is done for several reasons which can vary depending on each woman and her goals. Many women see the benefits of this procedure for restoring the shape and size of their breasts after pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss, or just to feel confident about how they look. Additionally, it can serve as a reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy.
Regardless of your reason for undergoing a breast augmentation procedure, Acadia Women's Health can give you results that will undoubtedly boost your self-esteem and confidence.
We have two accredited surgery suites at our clinic where we perform our breast surgeries, along with recovery rooms that allow you the convenience of coming in for the entirety of your process from start to finish (initial consult to final follow ups).

Dr. Gonzalez, cosmetic surgeon, discusses breast augmentation at Acadia Women's Health with Tracy Wirtz of KLFY.
Many women wonder which implants will provide them with the most “natural looking” breast augmentation results during their initial consultation. Our certified breast doctors at Acadia Women's Health will explain that there are two different natural breasts implant options: saline vs. silicone.
Breast implants come in different sizes, shapes, and textures—however, depending on various factors specific to the patient’s health, age, and personal goals, the doctor will decide (together with the patient) which breast implant option is best.
Saline breast implants also have a silicone outer shell but are most often filled during the procedure with sterile salt water. At Acadia Women's Heath, our breast specialists prefer to insert them empty and fill them once there are in the right place.
Silicone breast implants contain an outer casing of silicone with silicone gel inside. The gel has a sticky and thick consistency mimicking the texture of human fat.
