Our Procedure Process

Most breast augmentation procedures are done right here at our clinic in one of our accredited surgical suites. Dr. Gonzalez will place a small incision in the crease of your breast. A pocket for the implant will be made. The implant will be placed under the pectoralis muscle.

You will spend a few minutes in one of our patient rooms post surgery, and once given the all clear, will be sent home to recover. We will schedule you a few post op visits to make sure that your recovery is going as it should.

Picking the Right Size

Choosing the appropriate size for a breast augmentation generally depends on the patient’s diameter, height, and body shape.

Breast implant sizes range between 100 to 1000 cc. The most common and natural breast implant sizes are usually between 300 and 500 cc.

Types of Implants

Many women wonder which implants will provide them with the most “natural looking” breast augmentation results during their initial consultation.

Breast implants come in different sizes, shapes, and textures. However, depending on various factors specific to the patient’s health, age, and personal goals, the doctor will decide with the patient which breast implant option is best.

Silicone | Gummy Bear

Our Silicone, or gummy bear, breast implants contain an outer casing of silicone with silicone gel inside. The gel has a sticky and thick consistency mimicking the texture of human fat.

Silicone Implant Benefits Include:

  • Most “natural feeling” breast implant
  • Great option for women over the age of 22

Saline

Saline breast implants also have a silicone outer shell and can be filled before or after the procedure with sterile salt water. We prefer to insert them empty and fill them once they are in the right place.

  • Various sizes ranging from 100-1000 cc
  • More appropriate sizing due to being filled after insertion
  • Great option for women over the age of 18
